He was a pretty sturdy, enthusiastic young man, but the jury is out on him because of the caliber of opponents he's been in with. It makes you wonder if his people know something about him that everyone else doesn't know about him.' and he went on to talk about Lewis fighting Gary Mason on 13-14 fights, or Tim Witherspoon fighting Holmes on 13-14 fights and how they proved themselves vs how Wilder has been handled. Bashir said "There's such a thing as riding past your stop. You can't keep on without making a statement, sometimes you wait too long and it's too late" he cited Malik Scott as a prime example of that having not been on prime time tv til he was over 30 fights into his career and people STILL don't know much about him.


I think Deontay Wilder will have to fight somebody and really prove himself before fighting Wlad.
