Wilder is obviously a sicko puncher but he's not as natural or rugged as Fury. If he doesn't blast Fury out - which is obviously a strong possibility regardless of who he fights - I can see him getting confused and outmuscled.

Great great matchup. The buildup alone is absolute gold
Or head movement and punch variety

Id really like to see Stiverne and Chisora match up now. Evenly matched especially in the size department. Evenly matched makes for a good fight!

Id like Silkyjoes take on what odds he would give for a Wilder Fury fight as of right now because id bet Fury would be favourite and that seems daft when Wilder is the one who has just beaten a world champion.
It depends where it is. I think its close to pick'em but would slightly favor Wilder. Maybe 8/11 Wilder, 11/10 Fury and 30/1 the Draw. Very good fight. Really hope it happens.
Lets say England as that is where Deas and Wilder said they would fight as thy know peter cant travel to the US.

Cant travel because he's a crim? Great organisation from a so-called world title contender. Fury has two chances, fight Fatso Lucas Browne for some money and maybe win, or fight Wilder (hopefully for a lot of money) and get hammered. If by now he is not organised enough to be able to take a fight in the US then his whole outfit is just pathetic.

Would Manny Pacquiao fight in England if he couldnt take Roach? Would his management team allow that?

Get real! No fighter in or around world class or on the verge of a title would take a fight where they were not able to take the most important person in his camp with them

Would Manny's management allow him to have a member of his camp that prohibited him from taking big money fights in the US would be a more accurate question.

The successes of these guys make me wonder how they would fair had Helenius not been injured or if he and guys like Chris Byrd and Sam Peter were in their mid 20's right now.

Yes they are poor, even worse than heavyweights in 2000 +.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I don't think they are poor I think they just have different styles and peaked at different times.

    Not at all.

Arum would not change what works and risk his gravy boat.

Former meth dealers don't 'work' very well when it comes to international business. It remains to be seen if the germsns will want him. Sadly I can't see Wlad being interested enough to come to the UK.

I'm think Roach did it, just can't think of whom he left to help Pac-- When he was on his winning streak-fighters were lining up to get with Roach & he took on more than he could handle.

But I do see your point.

It was Provodnikov when he fought Alvarado. Roach's little assistant ran the corner because he was away with Manny.

Off the top of my head - Lee Purdy fought Devon Alexander without his trainer - Tony Simms - in the corner. Darren Barker did it.

What's wrong with between rounds Skype sessions? Trainer Monkey does it, most of his fighters are still alive.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

HAHAHAHA remember when Trainer Monkey was trying to train Kid Thunder via the internet.
Didn't work out to well from what I recall.

Kid Thunder before trainer monkey - 2 wins 13 losses.
Kid Thunders record after Trainer Monkey now stands at - 2 wins 23 losses 22 by ko.

So internet trainers are the future for sure lol.
