Shit matchup. Good press conferences/build up. Shit fight. Be hilarious if Hopkins fiddled his way to a decision.
B Hop is far more deserving than shitty Chavez Jnr. That fight won't happen with Froch anyway, because Fonfara is going to beat his ass. The only way I see Chavez Jnr winning is by a robbery, and you can probably see that happening as well.
IF Froch has an elbow injury and has had it for a while, how can he even think about fights with Hopkins or Chavez? the Elbow injury needs to be cleared up surely? btw, it's not about whether Bhop is deserving of Froch, it's the other way round!
After touring the world for the last 6 or 7 years fighting the best in the division on a continous basis, Froch has more thaN earned his shot at whoever he wants
Right, let's dispel this "regularly fighting the best in the division for the last 6 or 7 years " myth forever. His record over recent years is as follows working backwards:
    George Groves (twice)
Now I like Groves and I think he can become a champion, but it doesn't matter what I think , he hasn't PROVEN anything yet. He has never beaten a top 10 fighter in this division.
    Kessler
Another fighter I like , but he was Washed up, past his sell by and that is proved because he has never fought since and is now retired.
    Mack
Who? Wtf has he done before or since?
    Bute
Because he wasn't in the super six, we didn't know if he was the real deal or not. That night in Nottingham proved that he wasn't! He was like a rabbit in headlights and done fuck all since.
Then there was the super 6! Yes, he took on the top guys, but that was the whole point of the tournament. THEY ALL DID! And yes, he got to the final......but only because Kessler got injured.
    Ward
    Completely schooled.
    Johnson
40 years old, say no more. Too close for comfort and a "novice" Groves won every round against Johnson 12 months after.
    Abraham
Blown up MW that has never carried that power up to SMW.
    Kessler
    Well beaten.
    Dirrell
Many thought Dirrell was hard done by in Froch's backyard
    Taylor
Another Blown up MW , who let's not forget was 14 seconds away from beating him . However, credit where credit's due, he won and that's that! (Still a blown up MW though.)
    Pascal
I'm gonna try not to rubbish this one because Pascal was 21-0 at the time, and he has since gone on to have a very decent career at a heavier weight. However, he hadn't beaten anyone of note up to then and was fighting in Froch's backyard.
Froch is ok, but like with Khan and now even Fury, Brits do overhype them a bit.
Finally, what's all this "he's earned the right to fight who he wants, when he wants, where he wants?" Actually, he hasn't . The Americans aren't interested in him topping the bill at Vegas, that's why he needs Chavez, because for some reason unknown to me, Chavez is PPV fighter worthy of topping the bill at Vegas! That fight couldn't be made , hence no Vegas!
Funny really, if he wants to cement his "Legacy" and fight in Vegas, there is another fighter that fits the bill, and he's available........... His name is Andre Ward. Nah, thought not!

Well who else could he have fought at these times? These were the best fighters in the weight class

Mack wasn't the best in the division , Groves wasn't the best in the division, admittedly with hindsight Bute wasn't the best in the division. But my point is that it hasn't been top fighter after top fighter, apart from the super 6, and that was the same for all of them. And I repeat, if it's about fighting the best in the division, then it's Andre Ward. With Ward's inactivity, it mightn't be a bad time to fight him. One thing's for sure, it ain't Chavez.
    Ps. Good luck Saturday mate.

Mack was an easier fight after hard fight after hard fight for Froch. Groves was undefeated and he beat Degale, he's a decent rated fighter. The rematch went on to be the biggest fight in the UK since world war 2, so it must have been pretty big to sell out wembley . Bute was an undefeated champion, who was the favourite going into the fight and got destroyed in five rounds. Froch might have lost against Ward but he gave Ward all he could handle at the end. He's done a lot better than anybody really against him.

    Nice one
