    Wilfredo "Bazooka" Gomez, hands down.

    42 KO's in 44 wins.

    There's an earned nickname if there ever was one.

    That is an impressive record did not realise he was that destructive. I think I need to check out his career.

    @Master

    Check out his knockout win over the also ATG Carlos Zarate, who was 52-0-0 at the time.
    That should tell you all you need to know about Wilfredo's power and closing ability.

    An eerie similarity:

    Gomez knocked out the highly regarded and undefeated Carlos Zarate who had come off a huge victory over fellow countryman Alfonso Zamora (29-0 at the time). Trinidad similarly knocked out the highly regarded (and widely feared) Yori Boy Campas, who was himself 56-0 at the time. Huge fights, both of them..... similar huge knockouts.

    Yeah, let's recap.

    The wink should've given it away. Darn it... my skepticism radar was temporarily shut off.
    But then you repeated the line for Kermit Cintron and that was the dead giveaway.
    The overzealous "Viva Puerto Rico!!!" line sealed the deal.

    Oh well...

    Sarcasm notwithstanding, Wilfredo Gomez was the REAL Bazooka.
