I can't believe that you are a boxing fan if you aren't excited for this fight. Although it is a lot later than this should have happened, they are both top fighters in the world. So even if it's not for just the name sake, you should just be excited that two great fighters are fighting each other.

I think a lot of fans look at floyd and judge/hate him on his antics outside the ring rather than just compare both their skills in the ring and choose the better fighter.

Time will tell. I am judging Floyd on his last few fights and he doesn't seem to have it. Manny isn't quite the same either, but his speed and output are still there and Floyd is going to have a tough time negating that all night long. If Maidana can take 5 and Cotto can take 5, then why not Manny who is much better than them? Pac is probably going to land over 200 punches on Floyd and I can't see Mayweather eating them all and staying upright. Plus Manny is so much quicker than anyone Floyd has been in with for years. Floyd can handle southpaws, Floyd can handle power, Floyd can handle speed, Floyd can handle output, but I don't think he can do it against a fighter who has all four of those things. The Maidana fights revealed a lot about Floyd, he is still smart and he can adapt, but he is old and slowing.

He is old and slowing but floyd has quick hands and is the fastest opponent that manny has ever faced as well...

Manny will provide a great test but unfortunately marquez has shown us how to nullify that speed and has set the blueprint on mannys flaws..

here is MY take on this long overdue fight. I am a mayweather hater, i admit it. BUT...seeing as how he finally accepted the fight, props to him!!! he does have the balls i guess.

Prediction: well, if mayweather don't weasel out of the fight somehow, he will 1). buy the judges AGAIN and get a gift decision in a long fight of floyd running and potshotting, and of course it will be considered good boxing by the corrupt judges and he will get the nod. for running!!!
manny will be the more aggressive one and land the better/harder punches.

or 2). hopefully!! MANNY HAS TO KO FLOYD TO WIN~!!!! especially in vegas.

if it goes the distance - we will see a mayweather/maidana 1 all over, but manny will punish floyd much more than maidana did. it wont matter tho, because the decision will already be made before the first bell rings. after all, its vegas and its floyd TBE mayweather!!
