Other than that, seeing Tyson being pummelled by Lewis. We know that's not how that would have gone 15 years prior. But it was just heart-breaking seeing Tyson literally being led in there like a lamb to the slaughter just for a few bucks. He stood no chance, as Lewis was fighting at a top level and Tyson was all but semi-retired, plus with drugs, anti-depressants, bad management and being broke put him in a world of shit before he even signed the contract.

Edwin Valero killing his girlfriend and himself. So much talent gone to waste. Can you imagine what the lightweights, featherweights and jr. welters would be like if he was still around? Can you imagine the possibilities??

Last, but not least, the robbery of DLH at the hands of DON KING AND BOB ARUM for Felix Trinidad. Sighs.... just like the RJJ 88 Olympics, we know who won. We know who won!!!
Ali losing to Holmes was the first dissappointment for me.

2nd-I was hurt when RJJ got jobbed in the Olympics.

Agree with the posts on the Tyson- Douglass loss- I was shook. The Bite fight, I was sad for Tyson, for African-Americans, for boxers, it was just all around dissapointing.
As far as Tyson being led to the slaughter house vs Lewis- Only highprofile fight in my life I did NOT watch. To this day, I've never seen the whole fight & will never see it. Tyson actually has given me so much grief- I am relieved to know he is in good spirits today- but his career after Douglas: just one big dissappointment after another for me. Truly.

Dissappointed at the reffing of McClellan-Benn--- took me a few years to watch that fight.

Valero- well I am the probably the biggest political conspiracy theorist of the board- Valero if we remember actually had Hugo Friggin Chavez tattooed on his chest. That man did NOT kill himself. Wrong thread for me to go political-so I will say this- he was murdured. Damn Valero vs Pacman would've been everything!

LOL! @ Kabong. Malcom the "showstopper" Tan?! haha, wasnt he pushed by Goosen? I remember thinking this guy has a certain charisma. Then he met Arreola- I forget which round it was when Arreola just pummeled him & Tan walks to his corner hollering "I took your best"!
I was thinking, but Malcom...this Chris Arreola guy doesn't look the slight bit tired...like he's just getting started.
In terms of a fighter being exposed like Tann,, for me it was Bojado. I dont think when DLH gave him a 2nd chance that Steve Forbes would turn in the performance of a lifetime.

I've mentioned this before, but getting to know Chazz Witherspoon personally, then the next fight Arreola once again crushed me. Totally dissappointed for Chazz.
