Although I agree that Wards inactivity is frustrating and not ideal, he did earn his championships in the ring. Stripping a champion should be a last resort and my ratings policy has already been established. In saying that; it is not as if the top contenders at both 175 or 168 (Kovalev/ Stevenson or Froch/ Abraham) have signed to fight each other and no guarantee that they will.

Andre Ward will remain champion until May 16th 2015 when he will reach 18 months of inactivity, unless he schedules a fight before then. In which case he will need to fight a top 10 rated fighter before November 16th 2015 or he will be stripped for not facing a Top-10 rated opponent in 2 years.

Kovalev fought B Hop that should have entitled them to be number 1 light heavy.

Stevenson defeated Dawson (after Ward did it) who had beaten Hopkins. Hopkins was ranked number three when he fought Kovalev.

Thanks Lineal, I look forward to this after every weekend fight. I think you have addressed this but why do you still have Ward as the champ.

Thanks Walrus, I appreciate the support. I posted this reply to Master a week or so ago, I do have changes to implement to my Ratings Policy but am holding off for the time being.
