if this were a few years ago when floyd was quicker i see absolutely no way that pac wins. at this point in their careers when they have both aged and slowed a bit, i still see just about no way for pac to win but i do think that there is a 5% chance of pac winning now rather than a 1% chance of winning before.

i would be shocked if pac could even make this fight competitive.

did you notice floyd just spent a year struggling with maidana?

do you really think pac has no chance?

their styles are completely different. maidana is a lot bigger and comes forwards and pressures a ton. pac doesnt do that. he relies on his speed jumping in and out. pac cant fight coming straight forward and pressure his opponent. thats not his style and ive never seen him do it. pac doesnt have the speed to overwhelm floyd like he does with other opponents.

pac would whack maidana that suggests to me that pac has a good chance regardless of styles

I think an older Mayweather beats an older Pacquiao.

Pac relies on speed, volume and that jumping in and out with weird angles and he's lost a bit of that now, whereas Floyd still has the ring IQ.

I see an interesting fight with a SD for Floyd but a few years ago it might have been closer than today (and interesting too).

Styles make fights. Just as Castillo and Corrales had a pretty even first fight with Corrales winning, Floyd struggled against Castillo but destroyed Corrales. Floyd has really only struggled against fighters that pressure him and push him to the ropes. Pac won't do that.

Marquez destroyed manny and manny knocked marquez down 3 times in one of their earlier encounters and the fight was still declared a draw!!!

Wake up and smell the baking soda because it really is all about styles and manny really needs to think about retiring because the marquez and injured Bradley losses have exposed his flaws.

You are right it is so obvious. Fans do not care, they have an emotional investment in their fighter and will convince themselves Manny can win.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

All I'm saying is there is still 8 weeks for them to change their mind and support a modern day genius between the ropes.

Manny is a good little fighter and has had some good little runs excluding his 5 losses.

I wish him the best but with Freddie roach still teaching him the same crap its only going one way...

Let's not overlook the one big change in Manny's training/fight plan... No more PEDs. That's gotta make a difference!
