K-9 vs Spinks?

I can think of about 3 in recent memory, ironically all involving Ishe Smith![]()
Hopkins vs Morrade Hakkar.
It should have been a serious travesty that this guy was ranked. But the fight was so darn funny to watch- linked it somewhere on one of these threads.
DLH vs Campas, that was a glorified sparring match. I really wanted my money back for that garbage PPV
Seldon vs Bruce Hipp Seldon literally won this off a jab. Amazingly Hipp looked like he'd been thrashed, but all it was for 10 rounds was jab-jab-jab clinch. repeat process.
Hipp had been knocked out by Smokin Bert Cooper, Tommy Morrison & a nobody, yet he beats journeymen Jose Ribalta and got a title shot- joke of a HW title fight.
fres Oquendo vs John Ruiz- DAMN! This was the most clinch-riddled-coddled fiasco I've ever seen in my lifetime. The best part of the fight was when the ref stopped the two and reminded them: they were in a prizefight- not because of tactics, but because at the lack of punches thrown. When Ruiz landed no one saw it--we were too busy entertaining ourselves.
Valuev vs haye- A commentator SAID THIS: This is pish, I'm off to watch Audley Harrison's greatest fights on DVD," B.S. fight.
David Haye: landed 98 out of 143 personally I thing that's rubbish haye landed 8 per round?Rubbish I think more like 4 per round.
Nikolai Valuev: was credit for landing 64 nuff said about that- wait! Oh, haye claimed he hurt his right hand.. Ok he's prone to baby pinky and baby toe damage in HW title fights.
Rigo vs Sod![]()
Cold Heart and a Weak Mind
John Ruiz vs Rahman and Ruiz vs Golota. Those fights made me cry. They were horrible and I forced myself to watch them like an idiot. Whenever I feel like I'm starting to get full of myself I think about what a moron I was to torture myself like that and it brings me back to reality.

Vicente Rondon vs. Jimmy Dupree

Nothing says keeping a mere trinket warm like being called "heavyweight champion" and defending on the undercard of a Tyson comebackFor whatever he wasn't, Seldom had a killer piston jab and beat Tucker up the same way. Hipp was a good dude. Talk about maximizing your short comings. Repaired knees and a face made of wet and still raw stuffed ravioli? His war with Morrison belongs in a best of time capsule, and he revenged his nobody twice

Larry Holmes vs. Muhammad Ali
Everybody knew that Muhammad was going to get a major 'ass beating' on the big stage
for all the World to see.
im not sure i agree with most of these
in most cases at least one of the fighters were someway close to being legitimate world champions
yes perhaps the opoonent was lame
Holmes v Ali? that isnt a legitimate world title fight?
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend

Barry Jones v Wilson Palacio
Steve Robinson v John Davison
The WBO at its best
Corey Spinks vs. Jermaine Taylor- SHI-TEEE!!
Wlad vs. Ibragimov and Wach and a host of others.
Holmes vs. Tex Cobb. Just a waste of time to see a powerless Holmes try to ko Cobb. It was just pathetic to see Holmes score so many times, so easily, so flush and with such frequency and Cobb just would not go down, quit or stop. Holmes could have done that for 30 rounds. Easily.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Floyd Patterson vs Tom McNeeley
A horror show !!!!
^ Granted the holding in the Povetkin/Klitschko fight was disgustingly excessive.
However 3. points should preclude this fight from ever being rated as lamest title fight.
1. You can see clearly from the highlights that Povetkin was responsible for a great number of these clinches by bulling his way in.
2. It's obvious the fight was fought at a high energy pace beyond anything ever produced by say LARRY HOLMES for instance
3. If you only seen the highlights you would think this was an excellent fight.
In fact Povetkin was one of Klitschko's most competitive opponents and you can see clearly the skill level involved during the actual boxing.
Just look at the angles that Povetkin is trying to employ, they are from all sorts of strange angles, testament to the versatility of the Russian and to the ability of the Ukranian to neutralise it.
