I think there is better equitment nowadays and also you have sport supplements and stuff creatine for example...An example would be perhaps the 100 metre sprint race It is now under 10 secs where over 50 years ago it was around 12 seconds,,So the human race is always getting stronger and faster,and smarter I guess...Hope this helps...
