He's on pace for 53 goals, so I think he'll hit the 50 goal mark. That's pretty impressive, scoring has been down this season for all the big guns. I don't think anyone is on pace to pass 90 points this year. It'll be the first year in over 10 years where the Art Ross recipient didn't score over 100 points.

Great game last night for my team, we won 7-3 and I had 2 assists although I got credited for an assist and a goal . Both teams had a meeting pregame because in the last game our opponent's played one of their players suffered a pretty big heart attack. This team was undefeated in 8 games as well...I think their friend's heart attack weighed heavy on their minds, but also it was pretty much the first time all season my team got back to back regularly scheduled games and we're gelling pretty good. I had an abysmal night shooting, everything put on net but everything stopped, I felt like shit but it'll come around. It did give me more confidence in terms of getting space and time to shoot especially since I am coming off being sick.

Ovi will hit 50 again it's sure as clockwork. It will be VERY interesting if the Caps see Pittsburgh in the playoffs, I'll be keeping an eye on that one for certain!

See the NYR got Yandle? That could end up being a huge boost for them for the playoffs

Yeah NYR are going to be a hard team to go up against come playoff time. I saw the Blues got Zbynek Michalek, he's a great shut down defender who's going to really make them tough to beat in the playoffs. I was hoping the Sens would get Zbynek because we have his brother Milan already.

The Canes got a win the other night...played the Oilers though sooooo one of the very few teams we are expected to beat.

Playoff matchups if the standings stay the same

    EAST
    Montreal vs Boston
    Tampa Bay vs Detroit
    Islanders vs Washington
    Rangers vs Pittsburgh

    WEST
    Anaheim vs Winnipeg
    Vancouver vs Calgary
    Nashville vs Minnesota
    St. Louis vs Chicago

Best teams to upset the apple cart: Florida, Los Angles, and San Jose....other than that I believe everything will stay as is.

I think Nashville is a good team, but has a hard task ahead in The Wild, I think NYR have a really good team as do the Isles but they are paired up vs the top individuals in the NHL right now. St. Louis could make a run IF they can get past Chicago.

I'm picking my Stanley Cup matchup New York Rangers vs Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Ducks in 6

It's so weird to see teams like the Kings, San Jose, and Colorado not in the playoffs currently. Nashville has put together such a great team from trades and free agency, they have so much depth. To think they got Ribeiro for just over a million per year, he was a great pick up. Forsberg for Erat was an absolute steal, one of the worst trades I can remember pulled off by the Caps. Great mix of young guys and old hands, they're gonna be tough to beat.

Big win for my team last night, 4-1, I haven't scored in a few games, but I'm piling up the assists. I've been skating well, my stamina is good, and my passing has been great on the break. I've been making some nice tape to tape passes from pretty far away, I even had to float one over a downed player but it landed right on the tape of my teammate. I'm happy with my progress but I know more needs to happen if we're to win the league. Right now we have 2 games in hand on the rest of the teams and we're sitting in 4th place with a 6-3 record. We play the undefeated 1st place team next Tuesday...I'm hoping it's a good game, last time we hung tough but ended up losing 5-2. Those guys have some ringers playing defense though, extremely good skaters.

I'm excited about the NHL playoffs though, there should be some good chippy games in there. If Washington and Pittsburgh are able to meet that will be one hell of a matchup given the last time they played Ovechkin was an asshole and slashed Letang

Game vs top rated team ended in a 4-3 OT loss. I had a so-so game, didn't do anything spectacular but just skated hard and tried to maintain control of the puck. Those guys just have a lot of good skaters and we couldn't string our passes together.

Any thoughts on 3 v 3 Overtimes? I rather enjoy shootouts.

Pittsburgh is looking rough, they can score 6 a game or nothing, they run hot & cold too easy.

Any thoughts on Toronto? They look like imploding as well. Kadri needs to get shipped out IMO.
