    He quit vs Tyson

Anywho, at the time Golota fought Brewster, Andrew had IMO beat Byrd and Ruiz but never got the decision. And Brewster had a CLOSE fight with Kali Meehan but he did beat Wladimir Klitschko by shear determination, he took punch after punch and kept coming forward...now he never showed he could just come out and blast someone in the first couple minutes.

I thought Golota had a GREAT shot at beating Brewster alas I was proven wrong. Golota-Liakhovich or Golota-Valuev would be good matches.

That was the situation. I though Golota had beat both of the two current longest reigning alphabet champions. In fact the fight against Brewster was in Chicago, and was presented as if it was finnaly Golata's turn to win a World Title.

    Brewster ended that

I think Brewster should fight more often because win or lose it's the most entertaining Heavyweight fight out there, sometimes even for the year(exception of Meehan) Brewsters last 3 fights have been bottled lightning win lose or draw. Nothing has topped the Lyakovich fight yet imo

Golota quit on his stool between the second and third rounds. Fight was ruled a KO. Then Tyson failed the post fight drug test by testing positive for Marijuana. Fight outcome was changed to No Contest.

Yeah i herd that aswell but still i think its fair to say Tyson beat him. I don't think golota is
much as a pushover as people think he has just made some bad choices but he has fought vertually every one so we no he won't try to duck any one i think if he comes back he should come back with the mind that he has nothing to lose at all so just giv it ya all.

    Very true.

I do think a fight with Maskaev would be decent!

Golota is doing the right thing. It is very important that he wins a championship belt ow he will kill himself or something.

He actually only lost to Brewster and Lewis and otherwise he made himself lose. He destroyed Bowe; that was vicious.

I think that he can make it if he MAKES HIS MIND UP. He needs Teddy Atlas who is all about fixing the fighters mind.

Do you think its the steroids making him mad?

Yes he quit in the Tyson fight but there was something wrong with him and he knew it...He was later scanned by the DRs and there was some type of head injury...can't remember at the moment exactly what it was diagnosed as but he was not in any shape to keep fighting

Yes he beat Bowe, and Ruiz and should have been champion 3 times over.

    But for us fans: it would be delicious to have an Insane HW Champ again;

No one can miss Golota fighting contenders and champs; you never know he may be brilliant or criminally insane. He may be ironchinned or collapse.

He just needs to avoid people who come out fast. Corrie Sanders would always have killed him; fast hands hitting like hammers and go for the kill in the first round.

Any match up would be intriguing. Toney-Golota (I would watch it) Peter Golota, Klitchko golota, Maskaev Golota, maccall Golota, I would watch any of them.

Golota never stopped being a good fighter he just stopped trying
I have to agree with you there. When it was time to put up or shut up, Golota gave up.

Even worse....Golota is a nut and basically had titles handed to him and could not capitalize...he had his chance, it's time to move on...
