They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Mares Reyes first bell. Here we go.
Mares is winning the fight but it seems harder than expected.
On a random note did anyone notice Broner saved air time by not having his fat dad brush his hair![]()
Best part of this format in my opinion. No entourages or obscure rappers mumbling while diamond encrusted grins and sunglasses and asinine dance moves crowd up my TV screen. While I admit there seemed to be a little flare missing with that catwalk (it was kind of like a real life version of the video game ring walks), it was kind of refreshing to have a gladiator entrance and better lighting (Perhaps just add some pyrotechnics like ufc). I'm split on the crew. The stalling for each fight was noticeable but forgivable for a fight like Guerrero/Thurman. The commentator cutting broner off when he started with "the africans, mexicans..." was hilarious.

I'm very pleased with how nbc presented and announced the fights.
Mares not having everything his own way. Seems to be just going through the motions.
