    Berto seems injury prone for one thing.

    I had to look at boxrec -much to my dismay, Berto has been fighting for 10 years. Doesn't seem that long, but he picked up the NABF & WBC in 2008. Made 5 title defenses. 2 time champ in 2011 for the IBF.

    11 years is a good run, I, too think he is past his best, but from my perspective he was cut out for the elite level-as in past tense.

    Side note- anyone disagree/agree with this: 5'6 w/68 reach @ WW was to his disadvantage.

    Not sure what you mean. To his disadvantage as opposed to what? The way he was built he couldn't have gone lower.

    But there are guys with 68" reach in even higher classes. So it's all a matter of working with what you have. Each of Paul Willisms arms was 362" long but he fought short. So having physical advantages isn't the end all.
