They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

No point even fighting if he's not going to come in shape, what does showing up fat against a no hoper do for him? It's a He could still be in contention to fight anyone except Wlad if he put in a good performance here, bizarre that he wouldn't prepare himself at least a little bit.

thats the problem with HWs. its too easy to become complacent. its a super weak division and you dont have to make weight. arreola is at least 40 pounds overweight. thats just ridiculous. did he even train? i feel like you cant be that big and actually train. even if he eats a lot, thats pretty fat for somebody who is supposed to be exercising daily for at least a couple of hours.

He probably figured there wasn't much point getting in top shape for an opponent like that.

I'm sure he'd come in around 240 again for a top competitor.

I think 240 is prime weight for Chris. That's his best weight.

Chris doesn't win with athleticism anyway.

Bit lazy though that's for sure to come in 260.

I am prepared to face the fact that Arreola MIGHT be done at top level now.

But I don't think that any top boxer fighting him, even Klitschko, would consider him a joke.

    He is always dangerous.

I've never seen any Arreola fight that was not good to watch.

Guaranteed action from the moment the fight begins to the end.

I hope Chris campaigns for one more push at a title.

In my opinion there is still considerable dispute on whether Deontay Wilder really is the best US boxer still when compared to tittes, and even to aged Tony Thompson!

I'm surprised you can even bring yourself to still post about Arreola, given where you had him a year or two back Tony Thompson would be a great test for Wilder, Arreola would get knocked the hell out and lose to Thompson as well imo. The fact that this one ended up being a good fight(which it did and all credit to Harper for his effort) doesn't change the level of fight it was. Wilder would have knocked either of those fatasses out in the first round easily imo, and he's still got some question marks himself.

arreola is a joke. the fight was entertaining but i just thought it was funny how somebody who people used to say could be the next top HW barely beat a complete bum. coming in out of shape isnt even an excuse for that performance.
