There are few things worse than a patient puncher with a good chin who can also box.

Matthysse was at his best when he was fighting this way.

GGG and Kovalev are the best stalkers in the game with Kovalev being harder to hit clean, tho I like GGG better.

GGG is a lot better than Kov in terms of skill and technique, may be a bit stronger too at his weight. Kov may hit a little harder and a little quicker on the draw, but GGG is better technically- punch combinations, counter-punching and foot movement. Particularly GGG's uncanny knack to "switch" power/lead feet- some call it "shifting" or "switching".

With GGG, you are just never sure where the power shot will land from if you are watching his chest or keeping pace with his feet. More than just him giving you awkward angles, but when he advances you are just not sure where you may be hit from HARD.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

the thing is I wold swwarm him, he would not be coming forward on me, I would be driving him BACK. All his fancy footwork would be null and VOID. He would be met head on and backed UP. Thats how I will fight him. He's great against guys who just cower and back straight up to the ropes and hold their gloves in a defensive postion and act like sparring partners. Let's see how he does when I back HIM up, when I swarm HIM with fusillades of punches that are HARD. Stick a fork in him, he is DONE> He couldnt deal with a Hagler.
