Cold Heart and a Weak Mind
lolol...
Matty is a PRIME 28. He is coming off of a good win vs. Willie Nelson. He has one technidal draw with Erislandy Lara where the fight had to be stopped on a cut on Matty's right eye in the 9th round of a 10 rounder... He has 37 fights with 21 of his wins by knockout... his only loss is a split decision loss vs. Andrade, the current WBO champ at 154 for that same title... a fight that should have been a draw if not Matty winning by two points on a Majority Decision because it was obvious that the judge (Reyes) was either blind or on the take... the other judges at it 113-114 for Andrade and 115-112 for Matty while Reyes had it 110-117 for Andrade... clearly a judge on the take, without question considering that Andrade was knocked down and didn't get into the fight until the middle rounds...
With all of that being said, Charlo is going to have his first loss of his young career. Matty should be rematching Andrade for that WBO belt, if anything.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

I've liked the Charlos for some time now but frankly not overly impressed last night. Even Jermall stretched the distance vs an undersized club sort in Finney on undercard was meh. Jermell was being out jabbed early by Vanes and looked kinda like a guy reading from a textbook and trying to drive at the same time. Def needs to tighten up and put it together.
Anyone by chance catch that exchange between Vanes and the Dr ? Interested in what Doctor was whispering to him at end and its clear he didn't want Vanes to stopPretty sketchy.
I have heard Vanes was asking out of the fight claiming blurred vision. But it magically healed when the Dr told him he wouldn't support it going to the cards.
