Rios was laughing at pacs punches throughout the whole fight.

Moseley said that pac does not hit as hard as floyd.

This is not a "who hits the hardest fight".

This is about a speedy powerful southpaw by the name of manny pac who CAN overwhelm fighters with his movement, power and persistence.

We can argue that he beat a past it hatton and a weight drained cotto or a post Moseley margarito but these fighters would still have been an issue at that time for anyone else in the welterweight divison.

As the fight get closer it is still very evident that manny is the best opponent for floyd at this time and with speed and movement he will cause floyd trouble.

The problem is that floyd will be super sharp in this fight and those clustering manny punches are waiting to be countered.

The real problem that manny has is that he has been too loyal to Freddie roach and another trainer could have shown/taught another side of manny that would correct his faults and be a much more complete fighter than the one we see today.

Remember, floyd has the mind frame of a winner and the adjustments he can make are truly amazing.

Manny has 5 losses and a draw against a guy he put down 3 times in the first round!

Get ready for the cramps excuse around the 6-7th round and manny fighting for the last minute of each round like he did against an injured bradley.

This might sound harsh but we could be looking at manny doing a "no mas" around the 9th round after the constant pot shotting and countering that leaves him in an embarrassed cramped daze.

I agree with most of the above thread but I think I have to completely disagree with the comment about Shane Mosley. Shane Mosley recently gave an interview I think it was in January or February of 2015 in which he said that nobody hit as hard as Pacquiao. I heard him clearly say that when Pacquiao floor him that he was stunned by the pop that was in that shot and that he couldn't believe a small guy like pakiao could generate that kind of punch. Mosley was very clear that pac was the hardest he had ever been hit. In fact he didn't even mention floyd punching power. & I know why. Cuz Floyd Mayweather hit's like a f****** mosquito.

Yea both Rios and Margarito could take Pacquiao's punches, only they both took a shit load of them. Rios wasn't laughing after the fight.

I'm not so sure Pacquiao would be a better fighter going with a different trainer. I don't think Hatton going with a different trainer did him one bit of good and actually probably fucked up his strengths and his head. What ever bad habits Pacquiao has doesn't mean another trainer can fix them.

Floyd might come out the way he did against Corley, but what will it accomplish? Floyd sitting down on his punches will make him a little less harder to hit. Even a slower Corley made some good connects. I think he has less speed with his punches when he does through the harder punches. He faster punches are all arm. I think if he does come out throwing bombs, we all win.
