by taking on the still dangerous Amos Lincoln.

Karl, who was aiming for a 'rematch' with Cassius Clay, saw that go 'up-in-smoke' as Cassius
was 'stripped' of his Crown on April 22, 1967 by the NYSAC and other sanctioning bodies.

On the horizon, Karl was looking at a bout with #6 Ring Magazine - Thad Spencer, which
was penciled in for July 1967.
