It's hard to take Jon Stewart's attacks on Fox News seriously when you take into consideration his political views and the political skew of The Daily Show which is no doubt to the left....unapologetically to the left. Stewart defines himself as "Socialist, or Independent", but oh well. His book is wrong as well, making several references to the "Democracy".....we're not a Democracy, we're a Republic.

Yes. It's a democratic thing to vote for example and as citizens we all participate in that if we so choose, but our system of government is a Constitutional Republic.
Splitting hairs but it's important to distinguish between the two
