I'm pretty much the opposite, there have been many, many times I've wanted a fighter to take a knee.
Fighters don't take a knee because they lose that round, it gives confidence to their opponent, they think they lose some macho points, and most boxers have too much pride to show any weakness, IMO.
I've never heard, that I can recall, any commentators talking about how many times a particular fighter has taken a knee. Should we start keeping stats on taking knees to separate the smart fighters from the stupid ones? Do you think if we started talking about 'smart knees' fighters would start taking knees more often? Hell no!! Lol
