You know this means that Khan will never fight in the UK again unless it is with Brooks?

I don't think many people will lose sleep over that. I can't remember the last time he fought over here. I'm convinced his fan base isn't very big over here anymore, and if he fights Brook, he will be the "away fighter."

Khan does have a big fan base and if Brooks was not around I am sure he would fight in the UK just to stay relevant over here. He has been effectively exiled now.

If he has such a big fan base he wouldn't have to fight just to be relevant, and it wouldn't matter what Brook was doing.
Th fact that he has been exiled is entirely is choice. He chose to base himself in the states, and I don't have a problem with that, it's a business decision. But the downside is that he does lose any fans he has over here.

The Brook-Khan fight already had a date booked at Wembley for June 13th, Khan was promised/guaranteed a massive career-high payday, it has Sky Box Office, it even had a "world" title at stake. You can only do stadium fights in the summer, which obviously limits opportunities. It doesn't need any selling.

    (This ain't about "gimmes")

Dan was Brook's mandatory. Fighting Dan means he has a year before the IBF can force their next challenger on him. It was also his first fight back from having his leg chopped off.

Khan then listed his possible opponents - Broner, Thurman, Cotto and Algieri. Of those five opponents (including Brook) there's not a genuine boxing fan on earth that would have picked Algieri. Shit match.

Brook's leg was not chopped off!
    Are you sure?

Pretty certain Brook had to have a new leg super-glued on.

Yes . Business decision I get that

Algieri must wonder what he has done right in life. Even if he loses this one and Floyd beats Manny I bet he may be in the reckoning to get Mayweather next !

Guess Khan has to go for the knockout - when was the last time Khan stopped anyone ?? I remember a head clash with Barrera and some Jewish guy with a beard he floored in first ten seconds in last few years thats it.

If Sky dare try put this one on box office they can fuck right off

Lol Have to go anal again, I consider myself to be a genuine boxing fan, I am on earth, and I want to see Khan vs Algieri. Lol

I want to see how Khan does against Algieri. We know what Manny did less than 6 months ago. It's surprising to me more genuine boxing fans aren't interested too. Clarity is a wonderful thing, this fight will spread some around.

Con is the most protected fighter that I have seen in a while. I hope Algieri beats him down once and for all.

Just realized he is coming to New York with this? He literally sets himself up to be over shadowed, still. Chris will put on his "Opie from Mayberry" interviews and pump himself up. This could shape up top be a huge snoorfest.
