Now regarding Pac not taking the needle before the fight, as a Filipino who knows first hand how superstitious many of my countrymen are, I can perfectly understand Pac's refusal to take the needle immediately before the fight. He had the superstition that taking blood minutes before the fight will make him weak. I guess many non-Filipinos would not understand that because that is a culture which probably only Filipino or with hispanic blood would understand. It must be noted though that Pac was willing to take the blood test IMMEDIATELY AFTER the fight. So if the fight will take at least one hour, I don't think that there would be different results in the blood test, taken before or after the fight. So it is my conclusion that Pac's superstitious belief before ( when he was still Catholic) was primarily the reason he rejected the blood test before the fight. Now that Pac has converted to being a Christian ( as I am myself), that superstition was removed. I can attest to that because I was also very superstitious before but my conversion removed all my "false beliefs" on man-made fears and restrictions.
