The draw was about right. Take away the bogus knockdown though and I thought Lee won
It was a good fight for one with such a poor punch output.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
It was a close fight. A draw was definitely reasonable. Lee has for sure gotten better. I remember a few years back I thought he was a completely average fighter. He is now a pretty solid fighter. This is the best that I've ever seen him fight. I'm surprised that he could do so well. I thought that quillin was going to easily win. Lee definitely surprised me.
Was a good fight and the draw was a fair decision. Neither would stand a chance against Golovkin at this point and most likely never will. I will always wonder why Lee didn't use his right jab more frequently. He started using it sparingly late in te fight and landed it almost at will. I think if he uses it more and earlier in the fight it breaks Quillin down and stops him late.
So everyone is in agreement MW is weak and nobody can challenge GGG. Yet many still want GGG to waste more years proving what we all already know and have known for 2 years. Mind numbing
Quillen had his chance to prove he was up there with him. Not a style of fights. Anyone who draws with Lee isn't top level. No offense to Lee, a good fighter, nowhere near great.
It's not just now. Middleweight has been thin on talent for a long long time. There was Roy and Bhop, then only Bhop for a long long time. Then JT came along as a brief but incandescent addition. Now there is GGG and journeymen. And Cotto who has absolutely no business at 160. So basically there is GGG and that's it. Andrade is probably the 2nd best middleweight and he isn't there and doesn't belong there. He's at 54 begging for anyone to fight him.

lee lost. he did good, but didnt throw enough/wasnt aggressive enough to get the victory. he should be happy he got the draw. he had quillins legs buckled twice and let him off the hook by not following up!!
a dumbass!!
Lee didn't impress me as much as Quillen depressed me. Quillen is average now. I really felt he had "it"... now he is just another name, no title, a questionable draw on his record, and now he has lost all monetary value to him that he had built up prior to dodging Korobov.
That fight with Korobov started all of this. Lee has some grit... while Lee did not deserve to win out right, Quillen didn't deserve to win either. Especially when he came in overweight and dumped thee very same belt he was fighting for again with Lee, who won the title off of the guy Quillen was supposed to fight.
Get my drift??
Quillen's stock has gone down. Way down. He has to rematch Lee and knock him out. No question!
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

draw was perfect. How much more did quillin weigh as compared to lee?

You are right about the low output. One of the broadcast crew (can't remember who) said it was developing into a sharpshooting contest, and I remember thinking that's an accurate description.
I really got sucked into the fight after Lee got up in the first. He was hurt bad and I started hoping he would last and maybe come back to win.
Lee put on a great performance, hell they both did, Quillin got up too, anyway it takes two to make a good fight when it goes the distance.
