its called circular breathing, not too many guys can do it, he can blow for several minutes wihtout taking a breath. BTW the piano player was McCoy Tyner. Yeah Rahsaan was blind as well.

Didgeridoo players have to do that as well as some Tibetan Monks with their chanting and shit....amazing talent.
