Yes Ruslan is the toughest mofo I've ever seen. He is a tank. If he had a bit more power we should call him the Siberian Hulk.

However it is very disappointing to see him not improve. Obviously Freddie Roach is not spending much time with him. I know Wild Card Gym is known for offensive fighters but offensive fighters with footwork and movement. Ruslan is not showing defense at all. Surely no man can sustain this style and it is concerning because I love the guy and want to see him fight for many more years. They really need to make sure Ruslan isn't just going to try to win a tough guy fight. He needs to move his head and use footwork. Ruslan stops B level fighters but these better boxer are going to pot shot him all night if they are in good shape.

Yea, he's a freak for sure. I was thinking the same thing about the old time rounds last night, hell even if they still went 15 I'm not sure anyone would be up for it. Thought he was toast early, like most I'm sure, but by the mid rounds it seemed like Matthysse was getting depressed over what a zombie he was in there with.
Also agree that he needs to tweak some things though, highly doubt he will but nobody can last that long fighting the way he has.

He is up there with the best chins of all time. I was amazed that he could take so many hard shots and still just keep coming forward.
