He's a power punching pressure fighter
Southpaws in general are maybe a bit harder to categorize as they all fight against the grain. I think of Pacman now as a volume puncher with great boxing skills. Not sure pressure fighter fits any more, as he doesn't really get anything done on the inside and is by no means constantly coming forward. He used to throw a lot more, hit harder, but neglect defense completely.
If I had to classify him, I would say he practices centipede style.

It's funny how Pacquiao is still being dismiss by anti-pac. I think many times Pac's opponents have underestimated him because he came from the Philippines with 2 knockout loses and is displayed as just a brawler. It's always been their first mistake.
I think the fighting style Pacquiao has is his own. Pre-Lightweight division, I think he was a volume pressure fighter with great power. I think in the higher division he had to be a Range General, relying on his footwork and hand speed to beat welterweights, attacking with combos and underrated boxing ability.
I also think the whole pacquiao hasn't had a knockout argument is weak because many of Pacquiaos fights should have been stopped. Margarito and Algerie leads the list. The refs in those matches actually gets in stopping Pacquiaos attack but seem to change their minds right when Pacquiao stops attacking. Only in boxing. Also the lack of will in Pacquiaos opponent to exchange with him.
