i do agree with you and sort of disagree a little....
way i see it is his fights have not been as great as he thinks.... he took on a roy jones that had moved down from heavy lost all his power and was not the same great man ... and he took the credit for it.....
glen johnson is a good fighter... and is actually about the same class as tarver great but not excellent is how i'd describe them... thats why i think they both have a win each over eachother...
and when i saw tarver fight hopkins he looked exectly like roy did when tarver faced him he looked drained, no power, and he looked like he just didnt want it, just like roy did.... tarver needs to take all this time of really work at building the muscle and the hunger back, take the tune up and get back on track!! i mean i dislike tarver but respect tarver and to be fair hes a big name whos still got a couple of big fights ahead of him i believe!
