He was telling Floyd to be more aggressive because he was afraid that the judges would be swayed by Manny's flurries on the ropes (which were largely ineffective) and the roaring of the crowd whenever Manny did something. Manny has gotten some questionable decisions probably because of that (JMM) and Mayweather has had some close calls by incompetent judging (DLH, Maidana, Canelo).

Nothing Floyd Sr said suggested that he thought Floyd was losing the fight IMO.
