Oddly, espn reported Mayweather admitted he went into the fight with injuries to both arms and hands. You can find the article on Espn go .com. he didn't go into further detail, just mentioned it when people were talking about Mannys injury saying fighters often fight hurt.

mayweather had injuriesd but its recurring hand stuff which he has had for years and years. Doesnt require surgery. There should be a rematch and a CAP on their purses---- $5 million maxim,um each fighter.

Mayweather addressed that during the post fight press conference. He said that he had injured both his hands as well as both his shoulders.

It is definite. Floyd will fight in Sept to go for 49 and then a return bout with Manny in Spring 2016 to try to surpass Marciano, to go for 50-0.

Fight will be in Macao.
