Really we are making Canelo a threat on the back of his Kirkland win,! in all honesty it's not
much to go on is it, GGG will I feel walk through Canelo or anybody at light or middle weight.
Martin Murray was one tough SOB, and he beat the crap out of him,! so Canelo is no were near
as big or strong, and I can't see him taking the beating Murray took.!

    GGG by TKO in 6

Right now I am even leaning towards Cotto to beat Canelo based on how poorly Canelo kept Kirkland off of him. Sure he ended up KO'ing Kirkland, but he couldn't keep James off of him all that well. You see a few times where James would drop back and gather himself....really after 1 bum rush straight forward being fended off you'd assume that Kirkland would have started looking for angles and stayed on the outside trying to work in behind the jab, but he didn't.

Canelo is a good boxer, but he takes his time in the ring and he's not as forceful when he's not getting his way in there which can give the wrong guy a little sniff of victory and to a hungry fighter that's a very dangerous thing.

I don't see this fight happening until after Alvarez gets Cotto in the ring.

GGG would beat Canelo at middleweight and as has been said Saul has lucrative fights staying at light middle yet.

The fight would be more interesting if GGG was forced to come down to the light middleweight limit and that would make it 50/50 fight. I do not think GGG would do that anyway.

I think GGG puts a beating on Canelo but I'd love to see Canelo win.

Canelo has been fighting at 155 in his last couple of fights, which technically is middleweight. If Cotto beats Geale, which isn't a complete given, then a fight with Canelo is huge. I imagine that is the route that Canelo goes. If he beats Cotto for the middleweight belts, a fight with GGG in the second half of 2016 would be a major event.
