There's people out there who think DLH and Maidana should have won as well. Not understand boxing and not knowing how to score a fight unfortunately doesn't stop a lot of people from telling how fights should have been scored.

It's funny how clowns like you are quick to say people don't know how to score fights but don't understand that points needs to be taken off for excessive hugging and how aggression should be given more credit/points. If they followed actual referring rule, guys like floyd would have been given less points therefor defeated. Hugging is what killed the heavyweight division. All of those ESPN, bleacher, HBO and others share the same compubox stats. The guy I shared a link to had it redone round by round and turned out different from compubox stats.

It's EFFECTIVE aggression that's scored in pro boxing. If you're throwing a lot of punches and wearing a guy down, you're being effective. If you're swinging and hitting air and arms, all the while getting hit with clean counters, that's called getting outboxed.

You don't win fights on the basis of walking forward and moving your arms. You actually have to do something when you swing. DLH didn't do fuck all to Floyd.
