I'm huge Mayweather fan but I wouldn't say he's T.B.E. I do think he's overly cautious, almost on a paranoid level. Even his father in the corner was saying that he was fighting almost scared at times.

You are not going to get toe to toe out of Floyd in the ring. It's not who he is, he doesn't do 'extra' to keep the fans happy.
Like you said, Floyd does enough to put the rounds in the bag, if he thinks he's losing a round then he steps it up. He does what he has to to win, nothing more.
It's puzzling in a way, outside the ring Floyd is a real risk taker in my opinion (breaking with Arum, promoting, switching his bad boy image to the businessman, saying what he wants, and helping friends out with loans and cash gifts), but inside the ring he'll always be that cautious control freak. I agree 100%. I feel like Floyd had all the advantages (skill, size, strength...etc.) to take over late and push for the stoppage by walking Manny down. That would've been worth the money and the fact that he didn't push himself at all on that stage is why I will never consider him TBE and why I won't buy another PPV with Floyd as the headliner.
