I like Roy and he's always energetic, but I've noticed that he always tends to go for the black fighter.

I think you are right in some cases, I do the same thing myself. However, Roy is quick to cut cut them loose when he sees them making mistakes. That's one of the things I like about him. Roy is a fight fan first and an analyst second.
If Roy knows the fighter he is reluctant to give up on them, just like the rest of us.
