The inactivity is why I find myself slightly leaning towards Golovkin. Not sure how much fire remains in frochs belly. He's inactive, was never the quickest in his prime but would need to be at his best to take on this beast.
I think carl saw rounds 3&4 vs Monroe and thinks if he boxes like he did vs abraham he can put an end to the massive Golovkin hype train. What a fight it would be. Wembley or fulfilling frochs dream location of Vegas. 2015s fight if the year would be this. Forget Mayweather and pacs farcical fight
This is a great fight. Froch also saw GGG take 10 rounds to finish off Murray and commented that Murray wouldn't go half that with him. One advantage Froch would have over any of GGG's other opponents is that he wouldn't be the least bit intimidated by him. And he's bigger than him.
Be honest with your selves gents:
Had Peter Quillen spanked Andy Lee, then fought GGG & got KTFO by Golovkin, would that have given him credibility?
Sparking a young undefeated?
Again, I didn't think much of Quillen, but I would've called it a very credible fight to have taken
And won.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
Hearn: I Spoke To Froch, He's Interested in Golovkin - Boxing News
Hearn now saying Froch is interested. IMO , total bullshit!
I hope I'm wrong, but this is what I think. Froch is retired, but he don't want to let go of the limelight,so he keeps teasing Hearn and he won't announce his retirement.
Hearn has cottoned on to this and that's why he's been saying Froch should retire. Hearn has also put this out there as if to say to Froch "put up or shut up!" He's put the ball in Froch's corner. Hearn is getting a bit pissed off with Froch teasing him, and he's "lost that loving feeling" to quote the Walker Brothers.
Personally, if the fight comes off, GGG wins, probably by KO, despite giving all his strong points up. Hopefully it does happen and maybe in the UK we get decent odds for GGG as the punters and bookies back the homeboy.
I'm not holding my breath though.
