Degale is a limited fighter. A good start, but Dirrell controlled most of the fight beyond the 4th. Degale won, but he was outboxed like Manny/Marquez 1. Dirrell needs an immediate rematch and I think he will win more easily this time.

@Gandalf mate, I think Degale was suffering with stamina problems as he just couldn't apply himself. Whether it was due to over training or not, I'm not sure.
I wouldn't mind seeing Froch trying to win his old belt back. Don't think he would have fancied going after Dirrell again but now the GGG fight can wait![]()

Nah, I imagine it is because Degale is a basic fighter and ran out of ideas. Are you guys back home really getting hyped by Degale? He's a bit shit really.
I don't give DeGale much of a chance against Ward. How bout you guys?
That was a 7-5 either way fight. DeGale will forever dine out on that fantastic overhand smash. What a shot.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I was disappointed with Degale because he never put enough work in. If he was knackered then that is slightly excuseable, but to piss about dropping his hands and doing Ali impressions when he needed to keep the pressure on and score points shows that he is a dick and his corner have no sensible control over him.
I think his problem is that he thinks he's the next Naz, but he aint even close!
Who knows how long he'll have that belt? Right now he's the man, the Champ, the dude that delivered, the man with the right stuff, the fighter that went to the US and came back with the belt, guy that doesn't take no for an answer. You could even call him a hero. Let him have a couple of weeks to enjoy himself before you start ragging on him. lol
