DeGale took his foot off of the pedal against Dirrell. I hate when he does that, because he could have stopped Dirrell. Dirrell is good, however. But, he was there to be stopped on his stool, at least.

DeGale's power has gotten a lot better. He never had that pop. But he is a little lazy at times, and you can see it in his punches although he has gotten a lot better.

I have been a long time advocate of him going to America and receiving some extra training with a punch-specialist. A Freddie Roach, Mark Breland or Nazim Richardson. He needs to spend at least 3 months with either of these trainers to give him the extra crispness on his shots, at least.

The mental stamina and concentration can take place as a result of him just having more confidence that he can throw a decent punch like a real professional how he wants and when he wants.
