If SRR could not last with Maxim then he would not have done it with Rocky who I am sure would have loved to have fought him.![]()

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Imagine the punch that KO'd Walcott landing on a welterweight/middleweight......yeah Rocky, by MURDER
I know the old school fighters would fight a division or two above their normal weights but this is too far a jump to even consider. Given that if Rocky drained himself down to light heavy it would be a different story.
It's like Jake Lamotta said, "LOOK AT THESE SMALL HANDS, IM NEVER GONNA FIGHT JOE LOUIS". And Lamotta was a natural MW, Robinson grew into it over time.
Lamotta couldn't fight Joe Louis and SRR couldn't fight Marciano!
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
Well let me tell you he might outbox him a few rounds but when he gets in to a wrong exchange its over i mean the Rock could break his arms if he covered up. I mean Rocky punch pound for pound could knock out guys way bigger then him and Robinson like to brawl at times and then it be good night to him and would not wake up till the next day. Weight classes are there for a reason people say how shit hw division is now which i think is exaggerated but there a reason no lhw or cw goes up and tries to take on the champ or if they do they lose badly most of the time.
Marciano was, too everything that counted, for SRR. Too big, too strong, hit too hard, too aggressive, and his chin was too good.
Would have been a bad day for the Matador, El Toro would have tossed him out of the ring.
