Cotto beat an injured Martinez not the top P4P Martinez...and he never fought at middleweight again. Not even last night. What a bitch pussy!
Cotto beat the man, it was only after that people realized he was not the same fighter. Give Cotto some credit.

Martinez' injuries and surgeries were well known after the Murray fight even as far back as the Chavez Jr fight. Here's an article:
Injuries will likely keep Sergio Martinez from fighting for rest of 2013
This was explored in detail during the Cotto v Martinez 24/7 episodes before the fight.
Roach and Cotto even tried to prevent Martinez from being able to wear a soft supportive knee brace into the ring for the fight. They CLEARLY knew they were fighting damaged goods as did anyone paying attention to the lead up to the fight.
So don't give me the "he beat THE MAN" crap. He beat A man with one leg...

The article I posted the link to AND the 24/7 were from BEFORE the Cotto fight not after.
