Can't really write off Wilder for 1 bad performance, I am sure Joshua will have his bad nights in the future as well. Price has had his bad nights already, to the point where some are ready to write him off.
Deontay Wilder IS letting fans (and opponents) see more of him, he's fought as many rounds in his last 2 fights (21) as he has in the 10 fights prior to those (21). Wilder has stepped up competition but also competition has stepped up to Wilder. Molina apparently gave a good account of himself and he as well as Stiverne may have laid the foundation for beating Wilder in the future.
If Wilder is to stay champ he will have to learn from experiences like this. If Povetkin can slip and counter (which he'll have to be in range to do) then that will be a VERY interesting fight.
See this is what I'm worried about. Povetkin has power and will hit Wilder. He needs to tighten up that defence soon before that fight so I would be getting him another outing before then.
The question is who would win between Wilder & Joshua now. I don't think you can write Wilder off, but you can say he'd lose if he showed up like that for AJ. I have no doubt he'll be better than that by the time AJ reaches that level.
Wilder knocks him out. Joshua ain't even fought anyone ass good as Molina or Stiverne
I don't think AJ can last 3 rounds, tell that kid that he better stay home.
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
Joshua in a year or two but right now i would have to pick wilder if I was putting money on it.
What makes Molina better than Johnson? The only other rated fighter he fought demolished him. His last fight before Wilder he beat Raphael Zumbano Love in eight rounds, the same bloke Joshua ironed out last month inside 4 minutes.
Molina wouldn't last two rounds with Joshua even fighting to survive like he did against Wilder.
In fact Joshua is a decent win away from having comparable form to Wilder.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Depends on Joshua's chin, if it's decent then I pick him to stop Wilder and if it's shit then it's a pick 'em with either guy able to knock the other out. Depends who lands the big shot first.
Taking shit chins out of the equation then I pick Joshua because he just seems like the better fighter with better fundamentals.
He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
Too much unknown at the moment. The dynamic is great though, one likes to box/punch from range and the other likes it a bit closer, so would be the stalker - a lot depends on Wilder's ability dissuade Joshua, which of course depends solely on Joshua's chin, I'm sure Wilder will find it. If we assume he has a reliable chin and the ability to fight effectively past 6 rounds then I think he beats Wilder to a standstill.
If not then he gets dropped and stopped.
