I've no idea what it is, but I'd like to!
I looked it up.. It made my head hurt reading it.
You are the Creator of all that is, all that was, and all there ever will be.....
The body works all or nothing, you train movements not muscles.
That said, I think 'Functional Training' should be about improving movements. For instance in boxing, these would be exercises that improve footwork, punching, and responsiveness. Using a bit of kit like elastic cords/bands, it can be set up to improve specific movements when used properly. This way a fighter's body can 'feel' which adjustments to make, rather than depending on the coach to constantly tell them which adjustments to make.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Simce most people lead a sedentary and somewhat inactive life some parts of their bodies don't won't work the way they are supposed to. Our neck and shoulders are probably very weak as office work has a negative impact. Functional training can help a lot. I would say that boxing is functional in itself.
