It is more likely he was robbed of a 10-8 round but I think 1 judge scored the last 10-8 judgibg by the 115-112 scorecard.
One judge gave him a 10-8 I think but even if the rest did, Vargas still loses on the cards so I don't think it was as controversial as the HBO crew were playing it out to be.
