    Gennady Golovkin

    > Alan Minter
    Stance ..... Southpaw
    Height ..... 5' 9"
    Reach ..... 71"
    Style ....... Aggressive Boxer

Golovkin would have an advantage in height {5' 10 1/2" to 5' 9"}, but the reach is near equal.

Minter's southpaw stance and busy style would pester Golovkin for 6 or 7 Rounds. Many right-jabs
and left-crosses to the head would jar Golovkin a few times.

Minter's weakness was a 'sometimes' very porous defense, and the propensity to 'slug' when he didn't
    have to.

Also, that 'skin' over Minter's eyes would get torn by the slashing-hooks and fast fists sometime
    mid-way thru the bout.

Could see a bloody Minter making it thru 8-Rounds, but too much 'crimson' would be flowing,
and the bout gets stopped in Round 10.

Gennady Golovkin by a TKO in 10

Alan Minter did have a pretty good chin, and he does 'not' get floored here.

I was just thinking that. Only way Duran wins is if its at lightweight and GGG hasnt the strength to lift his arms

    Hold on...

Duran faired better at middle and with Hagler than Hearns did and Hearns has been put in the mix here.

That's debatable to me, because although Duran went the distance with Hagler, it was a UD. whereas nobody has ever taken a fight to Hagler like Hearns did , even though it was only for 3 rounds. With hindsight it was a pretty stupid strategy, and hindsight's a wonderful thing, but you have to admire the guy's cojones.
Also , Duran's next fight after Hagler was against Hearns , weighing only 2 1/2 lbs less than he did against Hagler and we know what happened there?

    Gennady Golovin

    Thomas Hearns
    Height ....... 6' 1'
    Reach ....... 77"
    Stance ....... Orthodoz
    Style .......... Bomber-Boxer

A 'slugfest' early, with Golovin getting rocked back on his heels numerous times.

But, by the end Round 5, Golovin would be able to get inside on Thomas and start
    to work the body.

Slowly Hearns would fade, and by the middle of the 9th Round he would be on 'shaky-pins'.

Look for Gennady Golovin to put the finisher in on a 'weary' Hearns, a flash before the Bell
    ending Round 9.

Hearns collapses at the Bell, and is 'completely out' as he rises at the 9-Count, but falls
    into the Referee.

Gennady Golovin by TKO at 3:08 of Round 9.
