Bert Sugar lived right near me in Chappaqua, New York.
I used to ride with him on the Metro-North Train to New York City.
He was real. Always had the Hat on, and always had a Cigar {unlit} in his mouth.
He was a good guy to talk to. He loved the old-school boxers from the small 'smoke-filled' arena's.
He was a 'bit' full of himself, but the man 'loved' boxing.

He did talk quite a lot of shit and seemed to live in the past.

Anybody who leaves out Lennox Lewis in his top 100...a guy that would have destroyed the field in any era in history cant be taken seriously.
