Arum is what the coloureds call a "player hater". He's a greedy scum bag who, along with fellow "jive turkey" Don King, has drove boxing into the toilet.

Don't know if there is a good guy in this in this fight. When Arum is the person asking for relief through the courts, things are definitely serious.
Haymon seems to want to take boxing in the right direction (less PPV), but what will the cost be in the long run.
Boxing needs more regulation in the U.S. The thing is, I'm not sure we'll like boxing when the regulators are finished.

I'd say Hayman knew these days would come well in advance and that the other players in the market were never going to sit idle and watch his vision play out.

No surprise at what was inevitable.

I think you are right, everyone has been waiting on the side lines to see how things would play out.
First Golden Boy and now Top Rank are seeing what Haymon has been working towards and they don't like it.
The way it plays out should be interesting.

Arum is just mad it is not him with the vision to make the money the way Haymon is setting up to do. Haymon saw THE VISION of investing in regular TV to boost interest in the sport to sell PPV down the line. MASTER STROKE!!
