Guys like Floyd and Toney were so great because they spent years studying the old techniques and also adding their own style and technique to the mix.

I understand why people hate Floyd as a guy but I don't understand why people hate Floyd the boxer, because if you love the sweet science Floyd is probably the best example of it in history.

Everyone loves to fawn over guys like Willie Pep, but then those same people call Floyd boring and cowardly. Makes no sense! Give him his props.
