Any man that gets into a boxing ring has some courage.
* Cassius Clay
* Mike Tyson
Pure filth in my book.

Agree with the Margarito pick as a fighter and person.
Casamayor & Junior Witter; I just don't like their fight style.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!

Roy Jones jr. Have a hard time watching him call for a blood and guts warrior like Paul Williams to retire (vs Lara) as he continues to fight inept set up mismatches trying to weasel his way into a title shot at 46.
Shannon Briggs. Shut up Shannon. You were never that good to begin with. Go away.
Broner. See above
Erik Morel, Carlos Molina, Jo El Scott, Bruce Seldon...leave the childrens alone!

You need to simmer down again Bill.Make the odd thread the odd comment no problem with us. This site isnt a hate platform for fans to take down boxers,you just fill this place with your obsession and it accelerates when you are left to your own devices. Thats the 2nd warning not to get carried away with it. There is never a third btw.

Obviously you never met the man. I knew Ike from the day he walked into Curtis Cokes Home of Champions gym in Dallas Tx & declared " I'm going to be Heavyweight Champion of the World & no man will ever beat me. He was right about no man ever beating him he just never reckoned on it being a lying hooker that brought him down
Ike was certainly no angel but neither was he the evil monster some people try to say he was.. Ike really suffered the fall out from Tyson's rape conviction, also a bum rap in my opinion.
The man I felt most sorry for was Curtis Cokes a great trainer & one of the good guys in boxing. Its every trainers dream to train the Heavyweight Champion of the World
Curtis transformed Ike from a crude brawler to almost the perfect boxer/puncher he was the natural successor to Lennox Lewis. It was a tragedy the way it played out Ike had the world at his feet
