Default Re: Bobby Chacon vs. David Sotello ~ "The Riot at The Forum"

    ~ Controversial Ending ~

    #1 >
Referee - Chuck Hassett was ready to 'stop-the-bout' with Bobby Chacon out-on-his-feet,
and getting pummeled at the {2:15 Mark}.

    #2 >
Referee - Chcuk Hassett was a 'tad-slow' calling a halt, and David Sotello unloaded with an
overhand right to Bobby's head, and then drilled Bobby with 'picture-perfect' left-hook to
the chin, which pole-axed Bobby into the canvas face-first.

    #3 >
Bobby hit the canvas at the {2:17 Mark}.

    #4 >
In the ensuing confusion {with the eruption of The Forum crowd of 7894} > Chuck Hassett
was late in directing David Sotello to the farthest Neutral-Corner {back-right Corner}.

    #5 >
It took Chuck Hassett 6-Seconds to get David Sotello properly set in the corner, before
returning to Bobby Chacon on the canvas at the left-side Ring area.

    #6 >
When Chuck Hassett got back to Bobby Chacon {who was still laying prone face-first in the canvas},
he mistakenly picked up the count at '1', and not '6'.

    #7 >
By the time Chuck Hassett got to '4', the David Sotello supporters started to slide thru the
Ropes, and entered the Ring, along with his Sotello's cornermen.

    #8 >
Technically, Bobby Chacon was 'Knocked Out', as he had been on the canvas for 10-Seconds.

    #9 >
David Sotello had thought that he scored a 'dramatic' Knockout, and started jumping up-and-down
while he raised his hands in the air.

    #10 >
While this was going on, Referee - Chuck Hassett was still counting over Bobby Chacon, unaware
of the chaos in the Ring.

    #11 >
Bobby Chacon was slow in getting up, and just barely beat Chuck Hasset's 'slow' count of '10', as he rose
    on unsteady pins.

    #12 >
Chuck Hassett then grabbed Bobby's gloves, and then turned around to see everybody in the Ring.

    #13 >
Chuck Hassett had 'assumed' that the Bell 'rang' ending Round 10, and ending the bout. But, there
was still 25-Seconds on the Time Clock.

    #14 >
Chuck Hassett then walked Bobby Chacon back over to his corner.

    #15 >
Across the Ring, the David Sotello 'supporters' then lifted up their fighter, and walked him around
the Ring while cheering ..... 'May-Hee-Co'.
