Default Why does a Highlight of Earnie Shavers knockouts not seem as impressive as ud expect?

I watch a Julian Jackson HL and im blown away. (as are many of his opponents)

I watch Tysons KO's im blown away.

    I watch Foremans and same.

But Earnie who I believe is one of the hardest if not the hardest puncher ever, (had iron chinned ali wobbled which foreman couldnt do, every1 said he hit hardest etc) doesnt have imo a very impressive KO highlights, I dont know why it just doesn't seem as brutal, or drastic as with Foreman who lifts guys out the air or Julian Jackson where you can see the shockwave go through his body and then through the unconcious persons body.

It just doesnt seem as impressive as it should be considering his very real and extreme level of power.

    WHY is that?

Because he was slow. Him and Foreman would club guys to death, where they would usually just wilt under the power.

Guys like Tyson and Jackson had so much speed to go along with that power, they threw fast snapping punches that would catch guys off guard and usually lead to much prettier KO's.

Not sure of what you are looking at.

Which specific Knockouts do not look impressive.

Just when we stopped the Earnie Shavers threads being the greatest heavyweight ever you start this. Now I know why you are called OMGWTF.

Boxing-wise, Shavers is generally unimpressive. He wasn't too good.

    Earnie Shavers

I didn't come to box, like that Fancy Boy Ali.

I came to knock you on your Ass.

If I lost, so what. There will always be another 'Brain' to scramble.

If that quote was attributed to Shavers then all that shows is that he did not have the mentality of a winner. Just one dimensional power puncher and it takes more than that to be a true champion.
