Hey quick question is this a site by chance or is this just a list that you do for the board. I was just wondering maybe it is on the first page or something and i missed it. Anyhow is it just you that makes the rating or is it a group of people taking votes on it.

I am the only one maintaining the rankings but enjoy discussing placements and my reasons for rating fighters where I do.

Please feel free to give constructive criticism, feedback or suggestions. I take everything onboard, the good and the bad and try to implement great ideas where I feel they will best benefit the rankings.

Number one Arthur Abraham (43-4, 29 KOs) forced the corner of previous number four Robert Stieglitz (47-5-1, 27 KOs) to throw in the towel in round six after Stieglitz went down from a big shot. Stieglitz beat the count but his corner had seen enough. Stieglitz tumbles to seventh. Fedor Chundinov (13-0, 10 KOs) moves up a place to fourth. Andre Dirrell (24-2, 16 KOs) leapfrogs from seventh to fifth.

LIGHTWEIGHT:

Number six Denis Shafikov (36-1-1, 20 KOs) stopped unrated Roy Mukhlis (27-5-3, 21 KOs) in the third round. No changes.

SUPER-BANTAMWEIGHT:

Number one Carl Frampton (21-0, 14 KOs) survived a major scare rising from two first round knock downs to win a twelve round unanimous decision over unrated Alejandro Gonzalez Jr (25-2-2, 15 KOs). Scott Quigg (31-0-2, 23 KOs) advances from third to second after annihilating previous number five Kiko Martinez (32-6, 24 KOs) in two rounds. Quigg dropped Martinez twice in the second round to force the stoppage. Martinez slumps a spot to sixth. Leo Santa Cruz (30-0-1, 17 KOs) shuffles down a spot from second to third. Number four Nonito Donaire (35-3, 23 KOs) scored a second round stoppage over unrated Anthony Settoul (20-4, 8 KOs). Genesis Servania (26-0, 11 KOs) moves up a place from sixth to fifth.

BANTAMWEIGHT:

Number nine Suriyan Sor Rungvisai (44-6-1, 22 KOs) knocked out unrated novice Ibuki Tanaka (0-2, 0 KOs) in the fourth round. No changes.

A cut above the right eye of Villanueva lead the ringside doctor to stop the contest. David Sanchez (28-2-2, 22 KOs) previously tenth is squeezed out of the top ten for now.
